摘要(Abstract)：

Sinclair的学术思想奠定了现代语料库语言学学科的基础,同时他还就语言教学提出了许多极富价值且有前瞻性的论述,并开展了许多卓有成效的实践研究。在他的语言教学思想体系中,重点谈到了语言教学中的4个难题,即歧义、变体、术语混乱及意义体系不完备。在Sinclair看来,其中有些问题看似反映了语言自身的特征,但实际上是因为采用了不当的语言描述途径造成的,改变这种做法便能较好地解决这些问题。文章将对Sinclair的这些重要的语言教学思想展开深入讨论,以期对相关研究者有所启示。
